It just has to be a Monday. The level of assholery is already at level Red.
Asshole Defcon Levels
It’s time for the daily grind of the commute to work. I’m barely out of my neighborhood and traffic is not moving. Ok, I think to myself, there must be an accident ahead. I’m also thinking, everyone else probably gets that, right? Flashing lights of emergency vehicles are about 10 cars back. Fire truck is actually honking to get people to move over. I start thinking about how I can get out of the way. There is a break in the median so I move to the left along with 3 -4 other cars. Emergency vehicles get through. So logically, I put my blinker on and start to move back over as the other cars do. NOPE! A big horn honking ensues as douchebag #1 basically kisses the bumper of the firetruck that just came through. Ok, that was just one guy, right? NOPE! Douchebag #2 comes along and does the same thing and then douchebag #3.
WTF people!!! I’m pretty sure they were not going to see if that was one of their loved ones in the accident ahead. All kinds of car horn honking started as others were just as shocked as those of us pulled over are. I get that it’s a Monday and Monday’s suck, but to lose all common courtesy and be a self centered asshole x 3 is just beyond comprehension to me. There is no excuse for that kind of ass hattery to me.
It appears I like to use “ery” on words today. I think it makes those words a little more cheery. Hmmmmmmm. This could be a fun day after all!
